Once that is done, give us a ring, no matter what the day or time is. We will be there rapidly to resolve the problem.

While you are waiting for the plumber to arrive, remove any important things from the area, and wipe up any water or place a container to catch the drips. If you’ve turned the mains water off, also switch off the heating for the hot water as well.

Help, I don�t know where the main water shutoff valve is!

You may have been shown it as a stopcock, isolating valve or toby. This valve is normally located on the boundary near the road, usually under a blue or black plastic cover.
